ERDMAN evaluated the market dynamics for Oswego, Illinois, to address the unmet demand for senior living. After careful evaluation of the demographics and the market competition, ERDMAN identified a site and, with the operator, determined the optimal mix of cottages and assisted-living and memory units to best serve the wellbeing of future residents and the surrounding community.

The site’s master plan creates an inviting senior living campus that takes advantage of the natural landscape and water features to support the client’s mission of enhancing the human spirit. The architecture follows evidence-based design principles to fashion a pedestrian-friendly, welcoming and healthy development for future residents and their families.
